Vix is a deeply established and respected global player in the transport sector, supplying the critical underpinning technology that tracks ridership, payments and fleets across a transport network. But as public transport ridership and budgets were down following the COVID pandemic and new more flexible and affordable start-ups were capturing customer attention, they were getting overlooked and pushed out.
Solution
Vix Technology needed a brand positioning that would put them back on top, responding to a more dynamic and budget-conscious context, while also working hard to unite the business across markets which diverged wildly in attitudes and maturity. Through the idea of ‘Opening up’ we tapped into a universal customer need for flexibility and scalability, helping them lead the industry with a more modular approach. With the new brand positioning we provided a strong narrative for leadership that redirected the conversation in Vix’s favour. It was purposefully designed to beat start-ups at their own game, push back against the large legacy systems of their established peers, and deliver the robustness and scale envied by new entrants.
